ISIS ringleader Abu Omar al-Shishani is killed in Libya
The ringleader of the terrorist group ISIS in Libya, Abu Omar al-Shishani together with two other terrorists was killed in a conflict with Libyan forces near Al-Samah Oil Field, an informed source said.
After the conflict between ISIS terrorists and Morade Company of Libya, three terrorists were killed one of whom was identified as Abu Omar al-Shishani, Libya News Agency reported in a Twitter message released on Saturday.
One of the Libyan soldiers was also killed in Zella city and two others were injured, according to informed source.
Since the fall of Muammar Gaddafi, Former leader of Libya in 2011, Libya has been facing wars and unrest. The chaos has strengthened the radical and terrorist groups in the country.
Due to its defeats in Iraq and Syria, Daesh is trying to strengthen its positions in Libya.
