Radical Salafi preacher in Germany charged with having ties to ISIS terrorist group
German Federal Prosecutor’s Office charged the radical Salafist preacher Abu Walaa with having ties to ISIS terrorist group.
Abu Walaa along with four other Islamists was arrested in November 2016 for allegedly recruiting militants for the ISIS and running a nationwide salafi-jihadi network.
The security forces view Walaa as the head of a ISIS cell in Germany, whose secret jihad seminars attended Anis Amri, the terrorist, who rammed a truck into crows at a Christmas market in December 2016 in German capital of Berlin, the Focus-Online magazine reported.
The court process on Walaa’s case is scheduled to begin on September 19, 2017.
