Police Raid Building To Stop ISIS Terrorist Attack
German police have arrested a 29-year-old man, Tarik S., who was allegedly planning an Islamic terrorist attack on a Jewish event.
The suspect, known for his past involvement with ISIS, was reportedly intending to use a truck to ram into a pro-Israel rally.
He had access to a truck and had searched online for pro-Israel events and jihadist content.
The suspect had been under surveillance by Germany’s security services due to previous terrorism involvement and warnings from foreign intelligence services.
The recent terrorist attack in Israel is believed to have fueled his desire to carry out the plot.
The suspect has a history of praising ISIS terrorists and had previously traveled to Syria to join ISIS.
In 2016, he was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison for being part of a terrorist group.
