ISIS police chief arrested by Iraqi Forces in right bank of the city of Mosul
The Iraqi Army’s 9th Division announced the arrest of a senior ISIL member acting as the so-called “police chief” of the terror group in Mosul’s southern region of Hamam al-Alil.
The terrorist was arrested as he was trying to infiltrate into the right bank of Mosul to degaise among the displaced people in Musheirefah district, Baghdad Post reported.
The Iraqi army’s intelligence said the ISIL commander was hiding among the displace people who are fleeing the war-torn areas, a source said.
The Iraqi forces are pushing on ISIL in the right bank of Mosul since February 19th. Most of the city are now ISIL-free, with dozens of the terror group’s operatives are being killed on a daily basis.
