One terrorist shot dead after opening fire on police officer in Kabul
The security forces killed a terrorist who opened fire on an officer of the Afghan National Police in Kabul.
The Kabul Police Headquarters said in a statement the security forces killed the terrorist in the vicinity of 17th police district of Kabul.
The statement further added that the security forces also confiscated two Ak-47 rifles, a vehicle and some other military kits which were in possession of the terrorist.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented in this regard so far.
This comes as Taliban and militants belonging to other groups stepped up targeted attacks against security personnel and governmental employees in Kabul city and other key cities and provinces of Afghanistan.
