One ISIS member arrested in SDF operation in Al-Dishisha

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement providing information about the ongoing Operation Security Reinforcement in Deir ez-Zor.

According to the SDF statement on Saturday, SDF Anti-Terrorism Units (YAT), supported by the International Coalition and with active participation by the Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, conducted on September 1 a security operation in the al-Dishisha area, al-Hasaka southern countryside. Supported by air surveillance from the International Coalition Forces, SDF forces successfully apprehended one of the ISIS terrorists who were responsible for smuggling and supplying ISIS terrorist cells with weapons, said the SDF statement.

Various weapons and military equipment were confiscated during the operation, including:

-AK-47 rifle /1/

-AK-47 magazines /5/

-Smartphones /2/

-Grenades /3/

“Our dedicated forces, in close partnership with the International Coalition, will persistently pursue ISIS terrorists across different regions of NE Syria to maintain security and stability,” stated SDF Media Center.
