Omer Yetek is a Turkish Islamic State terrorist who had recorded and later released a video footage of the burning of Turkish soldiers in northern Syria in 2016.

He was the alleged coordinator of several Islamic State terrorist attacks in Turkey.

Yetek is an employee of the media ministry of the Islamic State, was captured in Ankara in 2018. He was released pending trial on 16 April 2020.

The name of Yetek had also appeared in the file of the October 10 Ankara Massacre case as a witness.

In his testimony in 2018, Yetek had listed the names of several Islamic State terrorists who were responsible for organizing the attacks in Turkey.
