ISIS top oil official is arrested in Iraq
Iraqi security forces on Thursday captured a high-ranking member of the Islamic State (IS) who was reportedly responsible for the extremist group’s oil trade.
The IS official, identified by Iraqi media as Abdulghani Zargham Abdulsama was captured by the security forces wile attempting to cross the Iraqi border into Syria.
The security forces, based on previous intelligence, had ambushed Abdulsama before capturing him in Masada village near Bajaj (some 140 kilometres west of Mosul).
