Mustafa Kilicli was detained by the Turkish intelligence while he was planning to carry out an attack against Turkish forces in Turkey and Syria.

The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) carried out an operation to determine the whereabouts of Islamic State terrorists who posed as terrorist threat.

Kilicli also confessed that he had been providing assistance to Islamic State terrorists in the region.

Intelligence officers handed the terrorist to the Hatay Gendarmerie Command near the border with Syria upon his arrival in Turkey.
