Man shot dead by Islamic State cells in the Al-Hol Camp
SOHR activists have reported a new assassination attempt occurred in Al-Hawl camp, in the far south-east countryside of Al-Hasakah, when an unidentified man in his thirtieth was shot dead in the sixth section in Al-Hawl camp.
This murder comes in light of ongoing escalating ISIS attacks and murders in Al-Hawl camp, which houses ISIS families and members.
This morning, SOHR sources reported that “Asayish” Internal Security Forces found the body of a decapitated body of a displaced Syrian woman from Homs province in the sixth section of Al-Hawl camp in the far south-eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah.
It is worth noting that this is the seventh murder in June, where these murders left seven women: three unidentified women, four displaced Syrians, and an unidentified man dead.
Accordingly, the number of murders documented in the camp since early 2022 has risen to 23, which left 24 people dead; and they are as follows:
• Six Iraqi refugees, including two women.
• Nine Syrian people, including seven women.
• Seven unidentified women.
• A medic was killed in the post where he worked in the camp.
• An unidentified man
