Man from west London charged with terrorism offences
A man is due to appear in court today (Monday, 29 November) charged with four terrorism offences.
Ayub Khan [B], 19 (28.08.02), of west London, was charged on Saturday, 27 November with three counts of dissemination of terrorist material (contrary to section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006), and one count of possession of an article connected with the commission of an act of terrorism (contrary to Section 57 of the Terrorism Act 2000).
Ayub Khan has been remanded to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 29 November.
He first appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 23 November and was remanded in custody, to next appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 3 December.
Ayub and Mohammed Zubair Khan were both arrested on 16 November by officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command. Enquiries continue.
