Man arrested in Brussels for US embassy terror plot

Belgian police arrested a man on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack on the U.S. embassy in Brussels, prosecutors said Monday.

According to a statement, the federal police counterterrorism unit arrested the suspect, identified only as M.G., in central Brussels on Saturday. He was charged with preparing a terrorist attack. The suspect denies the charges.
