Lebanese security forces arrested one terror suspect over links to the Islamic State

The Army Command – Guidance of Orientation issued Monday the following statement:

“On 12/7/2021, an army intelligence patrol arrested A.Y. in the Akkar region of Hnaider, over his connection to terrorist Daesh organization, as well as his belonging to the Kaftoun terror ring and involvement in the smuggling across the Lebanese-Syrian borders.

Investigations with the arrested kicked off under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.”
