Lebanese forces detain Syrian suspect over links with Daesh
On Tuesday, Lebanon’s state security managed to detain Syrian suspect over alleged connections with Daesh terrorist organization, the National News Agency reported.
The detained Syrian suspect who rounded up in Nabatieh, south of Lebanon, confessed that he received religious and military training with Daesh organization while in Syria before coming to Lebanon.
The detained suspects came to Lebanon by following an unlawful way, according to the statement.
Lebanon’s general security also detained earlier this month a Syrian belonging to the Daesh organization who had plotted to implement terrorist attacks in Sidon, south of Lebanon.
