ISIS bomb blasts killed at least four Iraqi police personnel in Mosul
At least four Iraqi police personnel were killed in two bomb explosions conducted by the extremists of the Islamic State (IS) in two different areas in the group’s previously stronghold city of Mosul on Sunday.
Col. Ghazwan Sheet told BasNews that the first blast occurred at the entrance of al-Shoura region, and the other was at the entrance of Makhmour, southwest of Mosul.
The official added that the militants ad already escaped the scene before the security forces arrived.
Sheet noted that the four bodies were taken to the forensic department, adding that an investigation was launched, as well.
