Juma Awad al-Badri is a Islamic State terrorists who joined the salafi jihadist groups in 2003 and was known to accompany his brother, and former leader of the group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Al-Badri is a Iraqi national and Baghdadi’s elder brother, and always accompany Baghdadi as a personal companion and Islamic legal adviser.

Badri has long been head of Islamic State’s Shura Council, a leadership group that guides strategy and decides succession when a caliph is killed or captured.
Badri has two other brothers, one detained for years by Iraqi authorities, the Iraqi security official said. The other brother’s whereabouts is not known, but he is believed to be another Islamist radical.
Quraishi (Badri’s nom-de-guerre), indicates that like his brother and his predecessor he is believed to trace his lineage from the Prophet Mohammed, giving him religious clout among fellow jihadists.
He had recently moved across the border from Syria, where he has been holed up, and into Iraq.
