Jihadist terrorist flag displayed inside Hagia Sophia
A flag of an Islamic extremist terrorist organisation inside Hagia Sophia, has been filmed and published on social media.
“Afghan Taliban flag was raised in HagiaSophia, Turkey by pro-Taliban activists,” said Noor Dahri on Twitter.
“The conversion of Hagia Sophia was a motivational message from the Muslim Brotherhood to the world’s Islamist extremists and terrorists,” added the expert in Islamic extremism.
The Executor Director of Islamic Theology of Counter Terrorism ended his tweet with a dire warning that other Islamic extremists like ISIS will make similar moves inside Hagia Sophia.
“Soon, pro ISIS activists will raise their flag too,” Dahri said.

However, others have pointed out that the flag is in fact not that of the Taliban, but rather the Liwa al-Muhajireen wal-Ansar that operate in Syria and were once affiliated with ISIS, but now with Al-Qaeda.
Whether the flag belongs to the Taliban or Liwa al-Muhajireen wal-Ansar, undoubtedly a terrorist flag was displayed in Hagia Sophia.
The Palestinian terrorist organisation Hamas congratulated Turkey for its decision to convert Hagia Sophia into a mosque, as reported by Greek City Times.
“Opening of Hagia Sophia to prayer is a proud moment for all Muslims,” said Rafat Murra, head of international press office of Hamas, in a written statement.
Hamas, which was elected to hold 74 of the 132 seats in the Palestinian Legislative Council, is an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood and blindly follows orders from Turkey.
Meanwhile, Ali Qaradaghi, a senior member of the Brotherhood and an unofficial adviser to the Turkish president, says “the Hagia Sophia has returned to its true state.”
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed pleasure about the conversion of Hagia Sophia into a mosque and congratulated the Turkish people in a phone call with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey’s Daily Sabah reported.
During his conversation with Erdoğan, Abbas hailed Turkey’s decision to convert Constantinople’s iconic Hagia Sophia into a mosque, Turkey’s Communications Directorate said.
The 84-year-old Palestinian president, who is seen as a moderate in comparison to Hamas, has proven that he still does have a lot of common ground with the terrorist organisation.
