Israeli soldier stabbed by woman armed with knife in the Jordan Valley

An IDF soldier was stabbed and her weapon was stolen next to the Nevo Camp in the Jordan Valley on Thursday, according to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit. The IDF caught the suspect and the weapon.

The soldier, part of the Lion of the Valley Battalion, was transferred to Hadassah-University Medical Center for further treatment. She was in moderate, but stable condition.

Video from the scene taken shortly after the incident shows IDF soldiers chasing after a suspect who can be seen running off the road away from the soldiers.
