Israeli security forces take aim at Hamas suspects in Judea and Samaria
IDF, Israel Security Agency (Shabak), and Israel Police forces on Sunday night conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria.
The soldiers operated in 39 residences of individuals suspected of involvement in the Hamas terror organization and other terrorist activity. The security forces operated in order to prevent terror attacks and investigate the terrorist suspects.
During the counterterrorism activity, a violent riot was instigated during which dozens of Palestinian Authority Arab rioters hurled rocks and Molotov cocktails at IDF soldiers. The soldiers responded with riot dispersal means.
In addition, the soldiers conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria, including in the towns of Bayt Furik, Jayus, Dura, Bayt Awa, Yata, Dheisha, Beit Ummar, Surif, Sanur, the Jalazone camp, and the city of Shechem (Nablus).
No IDF injuries were reported.
Overnight, a total of 13 wanted suspects were apprehended and transferred to security forces for further questioning.
