Islamic State weapons cache found in Mosul by the Iraqi Army

The Iraqi security forces managed on Thursday to find a weapons cache of Islamic State (IS) in Mosul city.

The weapons depot was discovered in the area of Ain Jahish, south of Mosul, according to Iraqi media reports.

The Islamic State back in 2014 attacked Iraq and overran a vast area of the country, including Mosul, that was known to be the capital of the caliphate of the insurgent group before it was liberated.
