Islamic State terrorists kills and wounds five militiamen in Diyala
The jihadists of Islamic State (IS) on Sunday evening carried out an attack on the Sunni militia forces of Al-Hashd Al-Shayari in Iraq’s Diyala province, killing and wounding five militiamen.
The incident reportedly took place near the town of Uzem, south of Diyala province, where at least two militiamen were killed and three others were wounded, Iraqi media reports said.
According to the reports, a militia commander was among the wounded.
Earlier on April 24, the jihadists, in a similar attack in the same province, killed a couple of members of the Sunni militia.
