Islamic State terrorists injured three Iraqi policemen in Jalawla
At least three Iraqi policemen were injured in an attack by Islamic State (IS) jihadists in Jalawla, south of Kirkuk.
Bashir Abdullah, a member of the mayoral council in the town confirmed the report to BasNews and said the Iraqi forces came under a surprise attack just after midnight.
“There was fierce clash between the jihadists and the police forces,” Abdullah added.
“Daesh reportedly used snipers, PK machine guns, and rockets,” the official revealed, using the Arabic acronym for IS.
