Islamic State terrorists explode house of police officer
The jihadist group of Islamic State (IS) exploded a house belonging to a police officer in the disputed Kurdish town of Makhmour, an official confirmed.
Talking to BasNews, Rashad Gallalli, a Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) representative in the area, said that the incident took place in the village of Riwalla, in the district of Qaraj, on Tuesday morning.
The militants exploded a house of a police officer identified as Luqman Hadi Rajab, Gallalli said, adding that the majority of houses have previously been devastated by the extremist group in the region.
Makhmour is a small town located southwest of Erbil, the Kurdistan Region capital city.
