Islamic State terrorists attacks Iraqi Army in Jalawla
The Islamic State (IS) insurgents carried out an attack on the Iraqi army in Jalawla, south of Kirkuk, on Sunday night, with casualties reported.
Confirming to BasNews, Mahmood Dalo, a Kurdistan Democratic Party’s (KDP) representative to the area, said that the incident occurred in the village of Ma’adani, in Jalawla.
At least three Iraqi soldiers as well as one civilian were killed in the attack, Dalo explained, adding that more people were injured.
However, he did not specify the number of the wounded, but noted that half of them were civilians.
