Islamic State terrorist group targets Iran electricity line to Iraq
The Daesh (ISIS) terrorist group has targeted and exploded a strategic line transmitting Iranian electricity to the Iraqi northeastern province of Diyala, Iraqi media report.
Iraq’s Electricity Ministry spokesman Ahmed Moussa al-Abadi told reporters on Wednesday that the transmission of Iranian electricity to Diyala has been halted due to the explosion of planted bombs.
He said that the explosions occurred at midnight.
