Islamic State terrorist group claims responsibility for the attack on oil facility in Syria
ISIS has claimed responsibility for a dynamite attack against an oil installation in eastern Syria, local media reported on Wednesday. Three people have died. The victims worked at the al Omar facility, among the most important in the region.
Initially, reports spoke about the explosion of a landmine.
The ISIS claim to local media cannot be independently verified.
The jihadist insurrection in the eastern Syrian region continues to be present with attacks against Kurdish and Syrian government forces on both shores of the Euphrates river.
