Islamic State terror suspect arrested in southeastern Turkey over killing of two soldiers

A Daesh/ISIS terror suspect was nabbed on Wednesday in Türkiye’s southeastern province of Kilis bordering Syria in connection with the killing of two Turkish soldiers.

According to the provincial gendarmerie command, the suspect, identifed as I.I, was arrested in an operation in the Oncupinar neighborhood.

The suspect was allegedly involved in the killing of Private Yusuf Eylem on Sep. 1, 2015 in Kilis and Private Sefer Tas in Syria’s al-Bab region.
