Islamic State terror cell attacked the SDF headquarters in eastern Deir Ezzor
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights have reported that gunmen attacked the SDF headquarters in Al-Busayrah city, east of Deir Ezzor, in the early hours of Thursday morning, killing an SDF member and wounding another.
Meanwhile, SDF stormed three houses in Al-Busayrah after blowing up the doors with blasting cabs, arresting six people, a man a three of his sons, one of whom is underage, and two other men. The security campaign coincided the flight of a Coalition helicopter over the area. While the reasons behind the arrest have been unknown.
On Wednesday, SOHR sources said that four ISIS members traveling on motorcycles, gathered and set up a checkpoint near the cultural center in Al-Busayrah city, east of Deir Ezzor, then they headed to an unknown destination.
A day earlier, SOHR sources reported that a member of SDF intelligence services was injured due to gunfire by unidentified gunmen in front of his home in the town of Al-Shuhayl in east Deir Ezzor countryside.
