Islamic State senior associate arrested by the Afghan forces in Nangarhar

A senior member of ISIS group was arrested during an operation in Nangarhar.

The terrorist was targeted last night in a hideout in Chaparhar district.

A source in Nangarhar National Security Forces told BNA that the ISIS member was planning series of targeted assassinations in Nangarhar that were targeted by security troops.

He said the ISIS was one of the masterminds of targeted assassinations and a member of ISIS intelligence.

Several weapons were seized from the terrorist.
