Islamic State landmine explode killing and injuring six civilians in eastern Deir ez-Zor
One civilian was killed and six others were injured, as landmines left over from ISIS reign exploded in the village of Al-Zabari, which is under the control of regime forces in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour.
An increasing number of people killed recently by a landmine, unexploded bombs, and collapse of war-damaged residential buildings in various Syrian areas and cities such as Homs, Hama Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, and southern Syria.
The Syrian Observatory has documented since January 2019 to date some 402 fatalities, including 71 women and 121 children.
Of the total number, the Syrian Observatory documented the deaths of 45 people, including 30 women and five children, in their search and collect for “Syrian wild truffles”, which put their lives at risk, “Syrian wild truffles” grow in areas that are exposed to heavy rains and are sold at high prices.
