Islamic State executes woman for operating with the Syrian army forces in Syria’s Hawl camp

Militants of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) shot dead on Wednesday a woman in the fourth sector, specialized for Syrians, in Hawl Camp, east of Hasakah, northeast Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) pointed out that the woman, who hails from the southern countryside of Aleppo, was shot in the head, claiming that she had worked for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Hawl Camp, 45 km east of the city of Hasakah, is a house for 55.829 individuals, including 28.725 Iraqis, 18.850 Syrians and 8.254 of foreign nationalities, according to the latest statistics obtained by North Press.

A few days ago, body of her husband, who is from Deir ez-Zor Governorate, east Syria, was found with his head separated from his body.

After killing the woman, the ISIS militants shouted slogans, threatening to kill everyone collaborates with the SDF or organizations that operate in the camp.

The camp witnesses murders with different methods, most notably firearms. The management of the camp fears that the latest Turkish threats of invading areas in northern Syria would pave the way for the ISIS to reorganize its ranks; North Press cited a statement by the management as saying.

Since the start of Turkish threats, with a new military operation in northern Syria, and the escalation of these threats every period, the ISIS sleeper cells have been highly active, especially in the Hawl Camp.

On July 1, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara’s new military operation in northern Syria could begin at any moment.

Since early this year, 17 murders have been recorded in the camp, nine of which were against Syrians, including an employee of the Kurdish Red Crescent Organization, and eight against Iraqis, according to the camp’s management.
