Islamic State attack killed two women in Mosul

At about 3:30 pm last night, ISIS mercenaries attacked the village of Xezreci near Mosul. The villagers defended themselves against the attack and fierce fighting ensued. The attack killed two women and injured several children and a tribal leader. More detailed information is not yet available.

Since the victory of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) over ISIS in northern and eastern Syria, jihadist activities in the areas controversial between Iraq and southern Kurdistan continue to increase.
