ISIS threatens a Nice style truck massacre in Covent Garden: New video warns of plan for copycat of Bastille Day massacre in London

A new ISIS video contains a threat to carry out a Nice-style lorry massacre on one of London’s main tourist attractions.
The chilling footage hints at an attack on Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square or even Buckingham Palace.

Eighty-four people died when deranged Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel drove a 19-tonne lorry into crowds watching fireworks on Bastille Day on the seafront in Nice.

In the new ISIS propaganda video, which was made in Iraq and clearly produced several weeks ago, contains images of Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and the Millennium Bridge aswell as former Prime Minister David Cameron.

The video starts with an armed ISIS zealot firing a gun and saying: ‘This is a gift to Francois Hollande.’

The narrator talks over an image of Cameron – only replaced last week by Theresa May – and says: ‘You’ll taste the terror in your countries.’

The video also contains images of Abu Abdil and Abu Idris, two well-known ISIS commanders.
