ISIS terrorists destroy another historic church in Mosul
ISIS militants destroyed one of the historic churches in the areas still under their control in Mosul, said an Iraqi military official.
“Sa’a Church at the center of Mosul was bulldozed by ISIS militants on Thursday,” an unnamed military source said.
He explained that the church was for Catholic Christians or which are called the Dominican Fathers followers.
The church was also know as a historic heritage in northern Iraq for the religious minorities.
Earlier in October, the terrorists exploded the Assyrian Barbara Fouq Attal Church in the town of Karmlis, near Mosul, leaving the religious site in ruins.
The atrocities come as ISIS has thousands of Iraqi troops at the doorstep of its main Iraqi bastion, feeling pressure from the military operations aiming to retake the major city.
