ISIS claims responsibility for the Nice attack – at least 84 people dead, 150 injured

At least 84 people were killed last night in Nice when a terrorist drove a lorry into crowds celebrating Bastille Day in the Mediterranean city.
A pistol, several grenades and larger guns were among the items uncovered from the 25-tonne vehicle after the horror attack, French officials say.

Reports claim some of these weapons were fake, although this is unconfirmed.

He then opened fire on the revellers with a pistol but was shot dead by police – preventing him from using any other weapons to claim more victims.
