ISIS attacks the Iraqi Army forces with snipers and rockets
Islamic State (IS) militants attacked an Iraqi army outpost outside Jalawla district of Khanaqin, Diyala province overnight, injuring at least one Iraqi soldier.
A source from the area told BasNews that the jihadists targeted the Iraqi forces with snipers, and they escaped before the army could react.
The IS militants also shelled a bridge in the area with rockets, causing damages to the bridge.
No casualties were reported from the rocket fires.
