Iraqi Shia militia Harakat al-Abdal killed Islamic State commander of Hamrin Mountains

Shia militia of Harakat al-Abdal announced the death of Faisal al-Abeli, the ISIS military commander of Hamrin Mountains area.

Harak al-Abdal said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “The commander of the ISIS operations in Albu Ajil and Albu Alas fields in the area of Hamrin Mountains, Lt. Gen. Faisal Khaled al-Abeli, has been killed along with a number of his aides in the area,” adding that, “The so-called al-Abeli had served as an officer in the intelligence service under the former regime.”
