Iraqi security operation arrests six terrorists in Mosul

A security source said that 6 ISIS elements were arrested today in the left side of Mosul, the capital of Nineveh Governorate.

“A joint force of the 12th Police Emergency Regiment of Nineveh Police Command and the Directorate of Intelligence and Combating Terrorism of Nineveh, working within the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Interior, carried out a security operation during which it was able to arrest 6 members of the ISIS terrorist gangs ,Noting that “one of them was working in booby-trapping vehicles with explosive materials and making roadside bombs, as two of them were working in so-called Al-Hisba, The source told Shafaq News Agency.

The source said, that the remaining four, “were working as a fighter in the so-called Diwan al-Jund (soldiers office) and Nahawand Combat Team, during the period of ISIS’s control on Mosul city,” noting that “the process of their arrest took place in Nahda, Zahra, and Arbiyah neighborhoods on the left side of Mosul city, based on accurate intelligence and citizen cooperation. ”
