Iraqi security forces track down Islamic State elements in Kirkuk
Iraqi security forces have carried out inspections in Debs district of Kirkuk Governorate to arrest “wanted persons ,” the Security Media Cell reported on Wednesday.
“The advanced headquarters for joint operations in Kirkuk represented by the 6th division are federal police and other sections have started inspections in Wadi Amsha and Qarah Jum areas, southwest of Debs district (northwest of Kirkuk), and the areas adjacent to it , the cell said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency.
The cell clarified that these inspections come to implement orders to arrest the wanted and to pursue the remnants of the ISIS terrorist gangs. As well as strengthening security and stability there, noting that it will release details of the operation later.
