Iraqi court sentences Islamic State member to 15 years in jail
The Iraqi Central Criminal Court on Tuesday sentenced a member of Daesh terrorist group to 15 years in jail, Al Sumariya News channel reported.
According to the all-news channel, the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq said that the terrorist element admitted to have been involved in terror attacks against the state since he joined the terrorist group in 2004.
The convict has been working in developing arms and producing booby-trapped cars along with providing the group with logistics in the city of Falloujah, added the Judicial Council.
He also confessed to have been involved in carrying out several terror operations against the Iraqi forces.
