Iraqi artillery destroys ISIS hideouts containing solar panels

The Directorate General of Intelligence and Security (DGIS) announced on Wednesday that security forces destroyed hideouts containing solar panels used by ISIS terrorists in the Makhoul Mountains in Salah Al-Din governorate.

The DGIS mentioned in a statement that artillery brigades of the Salah Al-Din Operations Command destroyed three hideouts containing solar panels used by ISIS terrorists and targeted their mountainous routes.

The Iraqi Directorate of General Military Intelligence (DGMI) announced last Monday the arrest of three terrorists belonging to ISIS in Baghdad and Anbar governorates.

Last week, the DGMI announced the arrest of 16 terrorists belonging to ISIS in different Iraqi governorates.

The Joint Operations Command announced in late November that Air Force fighter jets carried out strikes against a hideout of ISIS terrorists in a mountainous area in Tuz Khurmatu in Salah Al-Din governorate.

Iraq announced in late 2017 the liberation of all its territories from the grip of ISIS, but the authorities are constantly launching security operations to pursue remnants of the terrorist group that carry out attacks from time to time in the country.
