Polish Internal Security Agency shut down ‘Islamic State’ website
A website with a Polish .pl domain which was promoting the so-called Islamic State has been blocked by Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW), the country’s domestic intelligence agency.
ABW’s anti-terror unit is dealing with the issue, Stanisław Żaryn, a spokesman for Poland’s special services coordinator, told Polish Radio’s IAR news agency.
Żaryn added that the ABW expects more Islamic State-related websites to be set up.
On Thursday, the Polish onet.pl online news service reported that the Islamic State had launched an online radio station with a Polish .pl address.
The web page was created on 10 February and was registered by a German company, according to onet.pl.
