Indonesian police arrested six terrorist suspects in Central Java
Police in the Indonesian province of Central Java said on Tuesday that the National Police’s anti-terror squad Densus 88 has arrested six people in the province for alleged involvement in terrorism activities.
The Central Java Police’s Chief Ahmad Luthfi told local media in Semarang, Central Java province, that the six people were arrested in separate operations in the province’s capital of Semarang, Kudus district, Klaten district and Banyumas district.
He said they were allegedly involved in illegal militant organizations as Jamaah Islamiyah and Jamaah Ansharut Daulah.
Densus 88 is currently conducting further investigations on the case, Luthfi said.
