Ibrahim Anderson is a ginger-bearded extremist who was jailed for setting up a stall in Oxford Street to drum up support for Islamic State is still posting inflammatory messages online after being let out.
He is follower of hate preacher Anjem Choudary, was jailed for three years in 2016 after setting up the stall outside Topshop in 2014.
Anderson, who was caught after outraged Muslim sisters challenged him, showed his Facebook followers an image of an AK-47 assault rifle placed in front of a prayer mat after being released from prison.
In the caption on the post, news of which was reported by The Sun, Anderson wrote: ‘Remember the Mujahideen (jihadi warriors) in your prayers because they are fighting on your behalf.’
It is alleged he used a Facebook account under a fake name to post two Islamic State videos and sent a further eight films to another person using an encrypted messaging application in July this year.
Anderson was jailed after he and fellow extremist Shah Jahan Khan were part of a group which set up a stall which promoted Islamic State outside Topshop’s Oxford Street branch.
He was easily identified from his distinctive bushy ginger beard and the sisters also picked out Khan during an identification parade.
Anderson, a father-of-five, had previous convictions for assault and possessing an imitation firearm.
