Houthis claim responsibility for targeting 193 ships
In a recent statement, the Houthi movement in Yemen revealed that since the onset of Israel’s military operations in Gaza, they have launched over a thousand missiles and drones, successfully targeting 193 vessels associated with the United States, United Kingdom, and Israel.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthis, made these remarks during a broadcast on al-Masira television, commemorating the first anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood. He asserted the Houthis’ steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause, stating, “We uphold our religious, moral, humanitarian, and principled position for the victory of the Palestinian people on the Yemen front.”

Highlighting their military activities, Al-Houthi reported that over the past year, they have engaged in significant military actions, including the downing of 11 U.S. armed drones. He noted that the Houthis had executed 774 aerial and maritime attacks on Yemen, which resulted in 82 fatalities and left 340 individuals injured.
Al-Houthi emphasized the group’s ongoing efforts to enhance their military capabilities as they continue to confront external threats.
