Hezbollah rockets wound two Israelis, IDF strikes Lebanon terror target
IDF fighter jets struck a series of Hezbollah terrorist targets in Lebanon on Wednesday night and Thursday, the IDF said.
One of the targets hit by the aircraft on Wednesday night was a launcher that had been used earlier that day to fire rockets toward Israel.
Concurrently, Israeli artillery hit targets near the Israeli-Lebanese border, the IDF added.

Subsequently, the military stated that an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon landed in the Upper Galilee areas of Dovev, Mount Dov, and the northern moshav of Avivim on Thursday morning. One vehicle in Avivim was hit. The IDF later said that two civilians were lightly wounded by the rocket attacks directed at Dovev, which caused a direct hit to a home.
Additional rocket launches from Lebanese territory were aimed at the area of Arab el-Aramsha, but these failed to cross into Israel, the IDF added.

Missiles have routinely been fired toward Israel since the Israel-Hamas War began, but few have landed in Israeli territory.
The IDF claimed earlier this month that one in five Hezbollah rockets fired at Israel fall short and land inside Lebanese territory but nevertheless remain a real threat to Israel. Advertisement
On Sunday, IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that Hezbollah rockets and missiles have resulted in the deaths of Israeli civilians and soldiers and displaced over 80,000 others from their homes.
In response to the slew of rockets fired at northern Israel, IDF jets again struck Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, the IDF reported. During their activities, the jets attacked more launch posts. Additionally, the jets, along with tank and artillery fire, struck more Hezbollah military infrastructure.
Nevertheless, the IDF later identified and brought down a number of suspicious aerial targets that had crossed into Israel from Lebanon.
The initial crossing of the aerial targets triggers hostile aircraft alerts in northern Israel. Although the IDF noted that the incident was concluded, again on Thursday afternoon, a rocket alert sounded in the northern Israeli community of Margaliot.
Later, the Upper Galilee regional council said that two rockets fell in open fields near Margaliot.
