Hamas urges young Palestinians to join fighting in Jenin

Saleh al-Arouri, deputy head of the political bureau of Hamas, urges all young men in the West Bank to join the fight in Jenin, claiming there are already “hundreds of thousands willing to sacrifice their lives.”

“To our heroes in the West Bank, from the south to the north: This is your day, young men. Fight with all the weapons, all your anger and with any means possible to defend our honor in Jenin, ” he says in a statement.

“Those who responded to the crimes of the occupation in the West Bank belong to all factions of the resistance, and are fighting together as one body,” he continues, “even if the statements are issued by different groups.”

“We are ready to sacrifice our lives, and the enemy’s threats do not scare us. We will strike the enemy at the time and place of our choosing, and by any means, whether with stones, bullets or rockets, like the Kassam that was launched a few days ago from Jenin,” he adds, referring to a failed rocket test last week in the northern West Bank city.

“There are hundreds of thousands of settlers living illegally in the West Bank, according to international law. We have hundreds of thousands of young men who are ready to become martyrs and defend the holy places,” he concludes.
