Hamas threatens escalation if Israel fails to comply with commitments

Hamas recently communicated a message via mediators to Israel, saying the latter must uphold its commitments regarding the sides’ arrangement, and ease restrictions in Gaza, threatening escalation is Israel fails to do so.

Hamas threatened escalations on the border could follow during the Friday March of Return, the London based Al-Ararabi Al-Jadeed newspaper reported.

According to the report, Hamas also warns of an increase in “independent activities” by youth attempting attacks in proximity to the border fence with Israel, and a renewal of military conflict.
