Hamas glad to cooperate with Qatar, received Qatari grant worth 113 million Qatari riyals

Qatar will pay the monthly salaries for public sector employees in the Gaza Strip to help improve the situation of thousands of civil servants who have not received full wages since year of 2013.
Hamas movement which runs the Gaza Strip welcomed this grant, saying it will help ease the wage crisis.

Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani (Emir of the State of Qatar) stated that the grant, totaling 113 million Qatari riyals ($31 million), aims to “alleviate the suffering of our brothers in the Strip, and the suffocating financial siege which they face,” according to comments published by the Qatar News Agency.
