Hamas commander killed in shooting in northern Gaza

A Hamas commander and his son were killed in a shooting in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to the Hamas-controlled Interior Ministry in the Strip. The commander was identified by Palestinian media as Abu Attia Mansour.

The shooter barricaded himself in a house and was found dead in the building by police, according to the Interior Ministry. Initial reports indicated the killed commander was a member of Hamas.
